Some naked toys for Friday

These are a few of the toys I am finishing off for next Friday. I am really quite excited and worried all at the same time. I am an expert worrier, but hopefully I will be too distracted to worry too much. I am hoping to have a sewing day tomorrow so I might have some proper show and tell!

Home again, home again . . .

. . . jigety jig. We didn't sell a pig (poor piggy) but we did sell some other animals! It was all pretty fun. Even the little man had fun. The rest of the market was pretty good too. Lots of yummy and pretty things. It was a bit stressful, because I am really good at getting stressed out. But I survived! We are going again next month (the 4th Saturday of the month) so I will be spending my time making more things to sell. Once I have finished the things for the exhibition next week.

To market to market . . .

. . . to buy a fat pig! Tomorrow I am going to the Fullarton Plant and Craft Market, not to buy a fat pig but to sell one. My mum, sister and I are having a stall and are going to be selling some of the great stuff we make. We will have a mixture of toys, bags and jewellery, and it should be a fun day out. The rest of the market will be fun too. When we visited last month there were lots of stalls with fresh produce and yummy things to eat. I will take the camera and report back on how it went!

Exciting mail!

I won the spoonful of sugar girls 75th giveaway the other day. Today I got a package from them in the post and this is what was inside!

It was neatly wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon (you can see them there) but I couldn't wait to unwrap them. There was also this cute little bib.

It's delicious!

And this great little babushka key ring (the little one in the front) who has found some friends at my house.

It was so much fun to get such lovely mail that I am planning a giveaway of my own soon. I am so excited!

Apple danish

I wanted to make something yummy for lunch and noticed we had lots of apples. Apple danish was the first thing that came to mind. I used packet puff pastry and custard inside and icing on top. My bloke was very appreciative.
