Sewing for my girl

It has been cold, windy and raining at our house the past week which is lovely! It's the sort of weather that makes me want to knit, quilt and sew. And there has been lots of hot soup and hot milo at our house too. I have just finished a pinafore for my little girl made from my own pattern. It wasn't working at first but after unpicking a couple of times is looking nice. Hooray for contrast bias binding!

Now that's really nice. How clever are you making up your own patterns. That's awesome. Love the colour of the pinafore by the way.

I love photos of your stuff.

The pinafore looks really lovely, just the thing layered with a skivvy or jumper for this cold weather. Did you make your own bias?
