The things is I like pancakes, quite a lot. We eat them fairly frequently at our house. I am keen on plain pancakes, vegi pancakes and apple pancakes. Well, today I decided we really needed to eat apple pancakes but alas, my eating machines had polished off all our yummy apples. So instead I made peach pancakes. I just grated a peach into the batter the same as I would with apple. They were delish! So making these again. Oh, and now that I have learnt that you can freeze pancakes (yes you can!) I always make a huge batch and stash some in the freezer.

I made pan fried chevapchichi's with zucchini, sweet potato and white beans. Was declared yum by all (even the bean hater). Funny thing is both my kids love beans and think a can of four bean mix is the best kind of munchies. Suits me fine!

Inspired by this alphabet. In fact, I am planning to make the the alphabet, but haven't yet had the energy or conviction to start. It was pretty fun and easy and the recipient enjoyed chewing on them so I have started compiling a rainbow of scraps!

I am trying a new tact with the toy management at our house. We always seem to have everything out all at the same time. I either make it too easy for the kids to get things out or too hard for me to put them back. This time I have opted for something my mother did. Drawstring bags. I made a heap of them the other day and now everything is contained in it's own little bag. So far so good. We have managed to have one toys mess at a time and it's still fun for the kids to put them back in their bags!

This is as much of the sea that we can manage at the moment! My little ones LOVE to play with water and I love it when they can do it happily. This play with boats lasted quite a while until the youngest participant decided she really needed to tip all the water out! To say the least - that did not go down well with the little man. Luckily we averted disaster and the little man is still playing happily away and little miss destructo is watching In The Night Garden. She might even have a nap, you never know!
